K-ON! Goes To London – “Hopefully They Won’t Be Mugged!”

The upcoming K-ON! movie has been revealed as taking place in London, an unfortunate choice of setting in light of recent events.
The salient details about the movie are that the girls resolve to go on a post-graduation trip to London, taking Azunyan along with them.
The movie itself opens in December, in the form of a December roadshow with complicated and (so far) completely sold out ticket arrangements.
Kyoto Animation are probably cursing themselves for not picking Paris or New York at this stage:

Sorry, what? London is the biggest shithole in Europe after Paris. And having lived in both for substantial chunks of my life, believe me - I'm very qualified to say that.
Both cities are ridiculously huge, and have both total shitholes and totally awesome parts in them. I haven't lived in either, but I've toured both good and bad parts of both. I hear both have one serious problem in common: there's no way that you can live anywhere close to your downtown workplace without either picking a total rathole, or being absurdly rich.
the problem with large citys like london and paris is that they are massive, like stand on a hill at one side and the other side is still over the horizon, is that they are split into disticts, and there are rich districts and poor ones, having something bad happen in a bad district doesnt mean that the whole city is bad, just part of it
As someone who has relatives in that shit hole and has unfortunately visited around 15 times since my birth I believe I am at least a little entitled to say this:
I will never ever live there nor stay longer than absolutely necessary. Hopefully when I visit Japan for my university it will not be as unbearable as that festering pile of shit some unfortunate souls call home.
I've been here for a few years now and I can say London is shit. The cost of living here is so fucking high that even a subway sandwich is fucking 5 pounds. That's $8.15 in the states. The rioters are justified for being pissed off.

Lived in LA till i moved to London. LA after the riots was still a better than London pre-riots. I wouldn't say either is amazing though.

As someone who lives in the UK, why the hell would they want to come to this hellhole?
There are hundreds of better places in the world to visit, and the UK isn't one of them.
There's a bunch of "nice" places to visit when traveling to another country, but to someone who's been living there all his life, such places probably don't look as nice, just "ordinary".
1. Insanely greedy prices (One 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola for £1.50; fuck off.)
2. Awful food
3. Horrible people (E.g. The guy who got mugged by those 'samaritans') or just the current generation of inbread morons in general.
