Noboru Yamaguchi, the 39-year-old author of the Zero no Tsukaima series, has announced the scheduled operation to remove his cancer has been a complete success.
He announced his survival via Twitter, of course:
“I’m resting after the operation’s success. I was able to take a little stroll today as well.”
“My sincere thanks to all those who left messages of encouragement. I’ll treasure the life you’ve bestowed upon me from here on. Goodnight!”
Happily, his immediate prospects seem good, although sadly his long-time prospects are another matter; it is not clear what kind of cancer he was stricken with, and as long-term survival rates vary wildly depending on the organ affected it is imprudent to speculate on this.
He does at least have the benefit of a huge and greatly supportive group of fans…
I enjoy what you guys tend to be up too. Such clever work and reporting! Keep up the good works guys I’ve incorporated you guys to our blogroll.
Do your best in the world of wizards. RIP *salutes*
Why is he dead then? Metastasis?
yay!
I hope he will really be fine on the long run
This is awesome news. I’m glad to hear it was a success.
