It's one of Ellet's Reports, called Squad 7's R&R.
It only features the main characters though. So unfortunately no Edy, though at least she's in the anime beach scene.
There was one, but it was one of the extra chapter you had to buy to learn more of some of your team mates :)
Yeah you had to pay out the ass to get that special scene, but all in all it was pretty worth it.

Ah, reminders of a great game. It's a shame they never made a sequel or anime.
There are 2 sequels on the PSP and an anime came out a few years ago.

He's clearly (and rightly so) just denying that they ever existed, because they sucked.
What was wrong with the Anime? It basically followed the game's story exactly except for a few things.
This, plus FFTactics are probably the 2 best console strategy games i've played.

the game had that racism angel, im half way through it, for various reasons, but it was never an all encompassing thing.
the anime, correct me if im wrong, took the racism that was on 5, took a permanent marker, and wrote in 11, and put the knob to there. and that was 1 episode and i gave up because that whole tone would at least be there for 6 episodes.
and the psp games, haven't played to much of it, but holy shit does it feel like a different game. its not bad, but damnit do you miss out on allot due to less buttons and 1 less analogue stick.

The voters on MyAnimeList gave it 7.8, Anime-Planet gave it 4/5 & AnimeNewsNetwork gave it 7.5.

They didn't suck. Judged on their own they are solid works, it's just that they're nowhere near as good as the PS3 game.
In fact, the combat system in Valkyria 2 made many improvements over the original. If only it was with PS3 graphics and without the "academy" setting...

I didn't mind the racism and their "this is not world war II, these are not jews, this is not hitler in a super tank" take on things. It was everyone going super sayian towards the end that finally broke the deal for me.
Trying to make you care for characters that were poorly developed just came of as a cheap when they started to cull the casting herd.
Outside of those two issues, it was fairly average.
Nah, the academy setting really didnt take much away from me personally. I mean at first you're thinking "aww shit school setting with all it's cliches etc..." But that all goes out the crapper once the story starts getting more serious as the months in-game pass by. It truly did get better for me anyway.
now what REALLY sucks... is that we aren't getting part 3 in the U.S. in the foreseeable future...

Valkyria Chronicles is a wonderful game, but, it sold poorly, sadly. Sega (or should I say, SAMMY) these days is not the company it once was, after all, look at how they have shafted Yu Suzuki. It is likely that the move to PSP was imposed by Sega for financial reasons, based on VC's sales.
Had VC sold well enough, Sega would likely have made a sequel on PS3. Why no Valkyria Chronicles sequel on PS3? Same reason there's no Shenmue 3.
Reiko Kodama would like to make Skies of Arcadia 2 or Phantasy Star V, but Sega are not interested; they are these days mainly a publisher and seem to be giving more funding to external developers than their own internal teams.
That said, I'm pleasantly surprised at the art book, given how Sega has never given us a Shenmue, Panzer Dragoon, or Skies of Arcadia artbook.

That said, certain females in both his "Valkyria Chronicles" and "Zettai Shoujo - Mahou Shoujo" series has similar appearances and personality...

For the record I have the book, and there's only 5 pages worth of swimsuits/ anything close to ero in 400 total pages.
This article definitely exaggerates the amount of ero content in the book. Its more focused on welkin and alicia concepts and the majority of the book is tank/weapon/geography/history

That´s why they made the second game on the PSP so different, because they saw that there was many females that actually liked the game.
So they made VQ2 like that so they could increase the female fanbase for the game.
