The only thing I think is getting stale is the constant reference to Akarin being non-existent each episode. I really hope they drop that soon, or make her actually come out on top of it at some point.

I swear this show is making it increasingly impossible to chose a favorite out of the main 6 girls (Yes I said main 6, I don't count the two girls who want to be council VP as leads since they have the least character development so far). I always keep leaning to Kyoko but then someone pulls me back and I enjoy them... this is by far one of the best anime's this season in the Slice of Life genera.

Couldn't help but notice the title being a Higurashi reference. Then I see Akari's expression at the end and think she's either dead or about to snap.
The Shoujo Ai aspect wasn't the main reason I went for this anime in the first place, I just found the art cute and comedy entertaining. But now I'm willing to change the way I think about it! =D
after sleeping on this, something's come to my attention. Is it just me or does it seem like the end scene was intended to be funny, but failed horribly?
The way I see it, a couple things made it go from cute and funny to serious, one was the sudden stop to the music when Akarin was forcefully pinned down and the falling tear in the last few seconds.
If the music hadn't stopped and the falling tear didn't happen I could easily see the scene being funny, but it just seemed out of place as it is.

I was a bit shocked at that scene actually, it wasn't funny at all. I don't believe the tear was because she was sad about being "raped" but because she actually liked it while the other girl clearly only cared about getting caught and tried to explain it as a misunderstanding.
100% agreement. It ruined the episode for me. :(
Really enjoying this anime too. The service isn't too overwhelming or in-your-face. The plot is eh, but I'm enjoying the light-hearted comedy, especially Akari fighting for her protagonist light. The BGM is what's appealing to me the most, it's reminiscent of Minami-ke.
