I always thought they physically looked closer to 12 than 14.
This is why 99% of Evangelion plugsuit cosplay is fail. If an adult were that thin in real life, he or she would have an eating disorder.
If anything she looks older than 14, not younger, and being thin has nothing to do with her age.

As someone who has issues with weight, I can tell you that there are people who are skinny as all fucking hell and it isn't because of an eating disorder. 120 pounds and 6 feet tall. So annoyed I can't gain weight.
