Ero-moe MMORPG Tera Online seems to be not only the sexiest MMORPG yet, but also the most expensive, having already been written off prior to its launch with the news that it apparently combines a monthly fee of ¥2700 with item charges and the ¥7000 cost of the game itself.

However, most prospective Japanese players are ridiculing this pricing as a rip-off of the first order which has doomed the title before it even launched – although coming from the same country which has spawned and sustained the likes of IdolMaster their reaction perhaps deserves some sceptical consideration.
Whether the sky-high pricing will stay or be quietly revised with developers insisting it was not actually final and accusing their customers of jumping the gun will likely determine just how few people end up playing the game.
No firm subscription details for the much censored US release have been announced, although the game is available for pre-order now despite this.

Almost all new games in Japan cost as much. With the current exchange rate most PS3 games are up to the equivalent of $100 now.
I can't agree that the game is crap because I have not played it.You can't get new games for $35 but you can get two great games on Steam for about $35. Waiting for Guild Wars 2 which is much better and only need to pay once for the game.

The pricing for this is probably just for Japan. There are big spenders over there. It's not gonna fly over here in the NA, especially when they're considering putting tights on all the little animal girls.

I desperately want to know how to extract models from games. Not just this one, but in general. No better way to learn good modeling and texturing workflow than from those who have solved the problems before you. I'm already an animator, but there are detail issues I've yet to solve in my modeling. Once you model the hips and shoulders correctly, there are methods of setting up your edge loops so that you can basically do any move but Indian Style sitting without any custom rigging beyond a character studio biped (unless there's some crazy clothing of course, which there always is).

Ya what they said was true just take a look on their forums and frogster's anit-asian mmo hate-speech too.
They already started censoring. The japanese version as compared to korean version has in the game textures censored nipples, removed shadings around vagina and halved resolutions of some textures.
Elin got censored due to En-Masse despite customer outcries. And you know what En-Masse did? Treated their customers as second-citizens. Tons of lock threads from customer inquiries about the armor censoring issue and the quality. Provided solid facts why elin shouldn't have gotten censored from several games and shows and En-Masse completely ignored until they finally came out and called it "a matter of opinion and art".
Now elin is glitched forever where her clothes won't even change proper color and her legs clip into the foreign material.
I brought JP Tera due to those idiots and it looks like everyone from SWTOR/WoW flocked to the forums in their asian-theme mmo hating ways.

Price for JP-Tera has since dropped! The game is only $50 dollars now and monthly subscription has dropped as well.
