I have to say I disagree.
It looks pretty nice and I wouldn't mind having it in my house (especially if it includes that girl :3 ).
The problem with sitting that close to a screen that size is that you can't see the entire thing. Especially with gaming you end up moving your head/neck a lot to look at your health, skills and such.
It might be oke if do drawing and design but still... you only see part of the screen so you might as well have a smaller one :P
On other note I wouldn't mind having a "lan party" with girls 1, 10 and 11 :3

If that's a cintiq she's 3 feet tall to look that small next to it. They only make them up to somewhere around 20-24". I have a 23" screen and am of average height 5'5" and it does not make me look small although it is about as big as my torso.
If you look closely it says Toshiba... probably an HDTV that she has hooked up to the pc
