Having decided on the worst anime, the same mass of anime fans has applied the same nebulous and uncertain criteria to determine the best anime, or those they can remember to vote for at any rate – unsurprisingly, several anime manage to rank well on both lists.

Why do they keep making these lists?
For me they seem complete bullshit.
Of course they're complete bullshit, hell the following three are on both the 15 best and 15 worst lists:

K-ON!
Has it not occurred to you that the same group of people has multiple opinions on the best and worst anime? The three you point out are therefore likely the most divisive.
If anything if demonstrates even the most "popular" titles may actually only appeal to a minority of fans at any one time.

If the anime appears on both Best and Worst list, it's THE anime to watch. Great shows are shows that have so many unique qualities that make people either love or hate them.
The real question is, "Why does Sankaku keep posting these lists?"

More like slow news year. There hasnt been anything on this site worth reading in a long time. I remember when this site had some pretty interesting stuff. Click on back through to the very first articles. Pretty much all of them catches the eye. Neat Japanese gadgets, cool shit around Japan, Eroge recommendations if youre into that sort of stuff.
Artefact, you need to get back to your roots and remember why you made this site. You use to crank out some interesting articles. Now all you post are hate mongering shit for pulling reactions with pointless lists composed by god knows littered in between.
Believe it or not, magazines sell because of these. All the editors have to do is make their rankings look authentic and official to the masses.
But everyone knows these lists aren't official.
tiger and Bunny and Evangelion are there, so it's a win list.
and ranma 1/2 is there. lol, this brings back memory

the people who voted on the "worst anime list", are tsundere to these anime series. I think they should open their hearts a little and watch the whole series and not the watch-5min-and-judge-series way of voting it.
Although partly is a sarcasm, I really hope those votes were based on few episodes of the series at least.
