Yeah, I actually clicked this link expecting to see bloody K-ON! at the top of yet another list. Remarkably, I was proven wrong, and I have never been happier to have made a false assumption. :)
I don't have any problem if K-on is anywhere above the Top 3, KyoAni did a terrific good job for being "not loyal" to the original 4koma.
Then again, Working! does deserve to be no.1 ... if not Seitokai Yakuindomo. Didn't expect Kanamemo is that famous though, definitely need to watch it soon.

Kanamemo didn't even bother hiding yuri content, French-kissing girls eight minutes into the 1st episode!

Working definitely deserves to be tops, it's consistent quality with every issue. Seitokai Yakuindomo and Lucky Star are also quite good.
Expected Azumanga Daioh! to be higher but this list isn't bad...

Oh don't worry about K-ON!, when the third season in the manga finishes and becomes an anime you'll see it come back in full force. ( Not that I'd complain seeing as how I love K-ON! ) ( Mugi is awesome btw )

And how the hell is Working! on the top of the list?! It was a decent show, but most of the other shows on the list were far better than it. Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou, and GA are far too low on this list...

The thing I didn't like about some of these anime is that you could literally see the transition between the sets of 4-koma strung together. They didn't flow.
Well, that didn't happen to Working, A-Channel and K-on as far as I've observed. GA, Lucky Star and SYD do have them but they didn't bother me at all either.
(..cept for that extra scene in Lucky Star after the heartwarming "Kanata returns" part. It just spoiled the atmosphere of me shedding some manly tears.)

Azumanga Daioh, one of the most under rated school based slice of life Animes in my opinion. I wish it was out on bluray!
I want to see Sadomi made into an anime. It's a epic 4-koma manga.
Wo..wow.., is it a curse or a blessing that Geijutsuka always came up right on #10 despite being under-appreciated..?

I count being in the top 10 to be a blessing, no matter if it's on the bottom half of it. at least GA didn't get an "Honorable Mention".

One of these i have not seen, a channel was pretty average, and GA was one of the few anime i watched and was so turned off by the first episode that i refused to watch the rest. The other seven are some of my favorites tho!

Nichijou's a 4koma? Odd.
I mean with A-channel's anime I could see where every joke starts and where it's punchline arrives. But Nichijou felt considerably less predictable and contained.
its a mix actually, its usually long but there's some 4-koma in there too

only the hakase/nano scenes are yonkoma
I think they did a miraculous job of connecting multiple 4komas in Nichijou or just expanding one skit so much it becomes a whole segment of the episode.
Kyoto Animation did a great job with that manga IMO.

Being animated gives a whole new dimension to these 4-Koma and gives them a chance to shine. The voice work, movement, interaction and pacing really adds a lot more to these 4-Komas than it does to regular manga.
