I think "Dantalian No Shoka" is more similar to Gosick.
Definitely. Ikoku Meiro has at most vague similarities to Gosick, it isn't "Gosick 2" at all.
I agree...how can anyone compare this anime Ikoku Meire no Croisee to Gosick?
Does Yume go around solving mysteries?
No, not in the least.
And she is cuter than Victoria from Gosick.
it might be late.. but.. up yours for saying she looks cuter than victorique.
And don't forget Kamisama no Memochou .
Its the only NEET thing to do...
Maybe, buy I wish people would stop saying Dantalian was Victorian. Lrn2history, guys, it's set around 20 years after the end of the Victorian era.
I think Dantalian No Shoka is more ToAru
I concur
Last pic: "Lolicon wa Shine" - "Die, you lolicon"
WTF? Something's wrong...
yeah, there is.
Claude can't read that.
Thats perfect, right?
She wrote it in Hiragana because back then, women didn't use Katakana. Except that back then, the term "lolicon" didn't exist. So, nice fake, whoever did that, but only 5/10.
and she wrote lolicon in Hiragana lol
>>and she wrote lolicon in Hiragana lol
so that it won't be misunderstood as (21)
(from Little Busters)
rorikon...
that's not very cute :(
Is that a steaming pile of...
It's sukamon from digimon.
A steaming pile of European goodness. lol
I loved it, so cute!
I hope the story doesn't get boring though.
well.. it's maybe the same background drawer as gosick..
The original art is from the same artist as Gosick but the anime design was created by a french team.
NO NO NO!!
gosick 2 is dantalian no shouka!!!
trust me on this one XD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fc7U3VHakgY
They are different, but vaguely similar
things like
girl in a library
books
mysteries
dantalian no shouka is more supernatural then gosick =]
and if you are watching for gothic & lolita
this show will not dissapoint.
The costume consultants are from
baby the stars shine bright
and Alice and the pirates =]
The main character is also a tsundere..
Dantalian is more of an old style ToAru Index. A girl that holds 900,666 phantom books inside of her. If anything, Croisee is Gosick 2, just switched roles.
-Victorique became asian, same as Kujo, who came to a foreign country.
-Kujo became foreign, with a touch of tsundere.
The story has nothing to do with the similarities, since you can change it, and it'll still look familiar. Especially when Croisee is from the same illustrators of Gosick >.>
Just the screencaps alone made me go squee.
It's cute and that's enough for me... for now.
This reminded me more of Aria. Historic european city as well as "newcomer" protagonist with "wonderful" encounters not to mention that this also has similar realxing atmosphere... Well, it doesn't take place in the future or on another planet but still.
the blonde girl looks as if she came out from Shugo chara
How could you guys not have included a GIF of her doing the "Gong" face of the sound of Japanese bells?! It was soooo adorable, loving this show.
Cute as she is. She's still miles apart from the cuteness of Victorique.
I think kamisama no memochou has more "gosick-like" elements
To Hell with everyone saying all the freaking time Ikoku = Gosick. I mean the girl is in France as a servant. And the guy is a snarky idiot.
If this series is the second part of Gosick, then Lucky Star is the second part of Higurashi no Naku...
gothic lolita? no way that any of th
Far better than Victorique.
Because the roles are reversed. Claude is Vic while Yune is Kujo.
WTF are pictures 6 fnd 17? I don't remember such scenes in this anime
6 - Mitsudomoe
17 - idk
I don't remember 2 things when watching this episode:
1-The coffee being drugging in picture 7
2-A piece of dogshit being cooked in picture 18.
for 1 it is from mitsu do moe where the nurse is putting a pee sample into her coffee. 2 i have no clue.
so if it's not related then why have it?
Because it was a Leon post not Artifact.
there's a third one.
the note left by a "Nagi" person. (image 22)
dunno if I'm right, but my gut feeling says it's from Kannagi
oddly enough, for this season wouldn't Dantalian no Shoka or Kamisama no Memochou be more similar to gosick than Ikoku Meiro? not exact copies but similar in concept?
can someone photoshop the first picture and replace the old man's head with a pedobear head?
thats a nice steamy pile of...............something lol
"chocolate" (sarcastic)
i already knew this....
Have to disagree with that
just because the illustrator are the same,
and both main char are loli,
does not imply they are the same type of anime
this is simply another Aria kind of anime, not Gosick
..You forgot that this show also have a reversed form of the two main characters; instead of a French loli and a Japanese dude, we now have a French dude and a Japanese loli; both have something to do with the pairings trying to suit each other's culture shocks.
..and OMG, the grandpa looks like that freaky Gray Wolf priest/leader in Gosick.
Yune is no tsundere, moron!
they are not saying: "same type of anime", they are saying the kind of anime that will "fill in" the void made by Gosick, that's why they called it Gosick II, if you want the same kind of anime, then wait for Gosick second season "if there's "ever one", which i doubt completely", btw, don't know why you compare this to "Aria", you totally did not watch Aria to speak of it, you're truly out of track in this one.....
I watched Aria so i know what I'm talking about
Satou Junichi work as the composition and sound director of this series (he is the director for Aria series)
the series focus on person arriving on different country and experience joy of new culture, its similar to Aria experiencing Venezia,
during the preview of this anime, Yune said a phrase similar to Akari way of speech
see the detail on the building structure and how much they put work on the surrounding background more than anything else? only few anime are doing this, and the reason is clear, they want you to experience the joy of living in Paris, that's why a lot of mundane thing happen in the series, same with Aria
if you can't see the similarity, then i guess you are watching Aria while sleeping....
Yea, doesn't feel like Gosick. It's more of a light-hearted slice-of-life anime.
