China’s Time Travel Cosplay Beggar Quite Sexy

An unusually attractive beggar claiming to have come from 500 years in the past has been attracting attention in China.
The woman took up position in the Shanghai subway system with a notice proclaiming that she had been the victim of a time slip and actually came from 500 years ago, and as she had no property in the present she needed money from passers-by in order to fund her return:
She did however promise to repay any donations – how this would work if she were to return to the past is not clear, although how it might work if she remained in the present seems very clear.
The credulity of even the most gullible observers seems to have been stretched by the appearance of her smartphone, however:

It's not profiting from stupidity, it's nothing more than making a joke while providing an original way of begging for money. Begging sucks either way but at least she's doing it in an amusing way.
No one in Shanghai, not even the dumbest moron in the city, would truly believe she really came from the past. People are just amused by the novelty of her method, and some might even give her money because it was original or amusing, while a random bum is not so much.
People have to get creative to get money nowadays.
Also, how is this much more right or wrong than politicians, CEOs and sports stars raking in a fortune for just hanging around or playing a game?
Well, I guess this would feel more like paying for performance, rather than tossing a coin or two for the case.
The Athena cosplay looks really pretty.
I bet if she wore that costume in NYC the cops would have confiscated her staff as a weapon of mass destruction!
