Shotgun, Triela prefers to use a Winchester M1897 Trench Gun.
She uses a SIG-Sauer p-230L as her CCW and a H&K P7 as her back up gun.
And if she needs more firepower at a greater distance, than she goes for the H&K G3.

I have the original run of this statue, very nice piece, well worth what I paid for it ($40).
no, the violin case does not open, however, she does come with her SIG pistol, which is a separate piece, so you have the option to have her hold it or not.
there have just not been enough gunslinger girls statues... I can imagine how awesome a crouched Henrietta firing her P90 would look.
I have to admit, those chubby legs are really one of the charming parts of this figure :)
When I see that lovely model, it brings me back memories of the first Anime season with all that great animation.. to be fucked away with that awful second one~

This figure of Henrietta is lovely, it captures her naivete and innocence (the part that still remains in her) as well as her childishness. She seems calm and completely adorable, definitely not someone you'd suspect of killing.
And, like everyone pointed out, the chubby legs increases the charm of the figurine.
Is there any figurine of Rico? I have a soft spot for her, she's my favourite. (:

I have the old version of the figure, and while it looks nice, once you get it you notice (it's not obvious from the pictures) there is something very wrong with how her upper torso bends back. I finally moved it off my desk and onto a bookshelf because it really started to bug me after a while.

That's one group of girls I could never fantasize about in that way. I always felt bad for them. With the gang rapes and being forced to participate in snuff movies, not to mention their conditioning I figured they'd been through enough.

Ditto. They inspire more of a fatherly emotion. I'd adopt Angie anyday. Thanks to their conditioning, they're guaranteed not to be ungreatful, disobedient little brats. Would be tricky teaching them not to kill people who remotely seem threatening to you though.

No, it's just a pretty regular violin case... with a P-90, suppressor, and extra clips in it. I doubt you can open the case on the actual model, though.

Gunslinger Girl wasn't really a "loli" anime... although it had young girls in it, it didn't have the pedo-fanservice and incest-innuendo found in current loli anime. Instead, Gunslinger Girl relied upon plot and action.
