Toyota has finally begun showing off some Corolla with Miku itasha paintjobs, and rather nicely done they are too.
The cars were snapped in situ by a Japanese Vocaloid devotee making his pilgrimage to the US to witness her debut – one of the lucky ones, as the flight booked by a Japanese package tour operator for less independent pilgrims suffered engine trouble, causing their ¥200,000 pilgrimage to be truncated from 6 days and 4 nights to meagre 1 and a half days.
Unfortunately, there is as yet no sign Toyota actually intends to cars in such livery, or even in negi-green, making its whole commitment to the spirit of the thing rather questionable…

Does anyone know if the Mikurolla is simply the same at the 10th gen Rollas(2009-201X) or if they actually are 11th gen Rollas? I'm doubtful that they are a new gen, since it would only have been a 3 year run for the 10th gens, but seeing as how the 9th gens(2003-2008) and 10th gens are the same under the hood and performance-wise, it wouldn't surprise me. I doubt anyone is even remotely interested in the car aspect of this, but I thought that I might as well ask.

In LA on Western by the Galleria(Korean mall) there is a Toyota Corolla billboard with Miku on it just like the 2nd pic instead of the macho Miku.

That's pretty normal.
It means that the tour takes a total of 6 days, and you get to sleep in a hotel room for 4 nights. 1 night will be spent for the flight itself.

The artwork in the second pic is actually very good and it seems they gave Miku back what Sega took away.
Such a waste. It's an awful car. Miku deserves better. So far all she's had are bmw Z4's. beaten up missiles and now this monstrosity. Pity.
