only one that is iffy is the leak one, but other than that, they all look pretty damn good, and comfortable.
If a guitar is uncomfortable or not can`t always be seen in it`s looks.
Gibson Explorer look distressing at first, but it is one of most comfortabe of all to hold, both standing and sittin`.

However, the Miku and Mio guitars at the beginning of the article don't look very comfortable to me. Really. While you're standing, it may be okay. But if you needed to sit for some reason, then it must be really unpleasant to hold, in my opinion. I can't imagine putting that on my lap. H-how? But I guess they were meant for show rather than anything else.
You are thinking of Flying V. Explorer has waist on both sides of guitar body. One of Mio-shaped basses has very uncomfortable body, but Yui LP`s are no-brainer.
Err... No. I'm thinking of the guitars in the pictures #2 and #3. Really. Just those two.
I can imagine Explorer being okay because of, as you said, the "curves" on both sides of it.
No-one will ever play those guitars again.

The first 3 are pretty impressive, especially the way they make the pickups nearly invisible and the custom inlays in the fingerboard.
I'll strum those.

Some of my guitars are models seen in anime, i don`t have to ita-guitar them. Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst 1959 RI says itself that Hirasawa Yui plays one like it.
Been otaku since 1985. No need to overplay it.
