2ch has discovered a ranking of the anime most well regarded by the hairy barbarians who dwell in foreign lands.

“4chan… looking at the results it seems some negative voting has been going on.”

“This looks about right. That lot really likes Bebop.”
“Baccano is doing well…”
“I’m happy about that.”
“For K-ON! and Railgun to lose in the first round – foreigners have no sense at all.”
“Madoka was never going to beat Eva but Madoka has done so well to get this far with only a single season.”
“Bible Black…”
“Foreigners like Baccano… maybe because it is set in a foreign country?”
“Madocchi had nasty opponents, going up against AB and then Eva…”
Few could question the overwhelming worthiness of Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion, but with Boku no Pico beating Toradora and Baccano crushing Bible Black and Ghost in the Shell there is much to ponder about the results… and about 2ch’s belief that the results neatly represent the tastes of all “foreigners.”

Actually no, it’s best anime as voted by 4chan. Which in itself explains why Boku no Pico got so far, and why Bible Black beat Dragon Crisis. It’s 4chan, whaddaya expect.
Baccano was great, but I didn’t like it BECAUSE it was set in a foreign country. I liked it because it had a great story, and the VA’s were pretty damn good too. I am disappointed that 4chan considered One Piece and DBZ “good” anime… K-On and Ghost Slide are far superior. Bebop is also great but really, I wouldn’t have let it get so far myself. FMA:B was much better. But this is all my opinion, it’s really not everyone’s.
I guess what really gets me is the fact that 2chan now thinks that this is what all foreigners like. I for one can’t STAND Eva. I mean sure, it’s an interesting story and mecha and epic and yadda-yadda-ya, but I really hate Shinji as a character and he completely ruined it for me. *sigh*
4chan, I am disappoint.
