Police are looking for a man who asked a schoolgirl whether there was a McDonald’s nearby.
Osaka police have issued a warning to the public after a man in a car drove by a high school girl cycling to school, asking her “Is there a McD around?” to which she responded “I don’t know.” The suspect then drove off.
The perpetrator is described as in his fifties and was driving alone in a small light green car. It appears the nearest McDonald’s was some 500m away.

So the police are that bored already ay?
It would be funny if it eventually turns out to be that the police were just too kind to meet him just to tell him where the nearby McD is.
Actually the afore mentioned police men were actually undercover McDonald Agents!
Ready to guide any lost lamb straight to heaven(McDonald's)
Bridge Bunny:Commander, a report has come in about a person lost and unable to find once of our branches.
McDonald/Commander:Quick everyone Defcon 1 to your stations! Where saving this guy no matter the cost!
Diemeow23:Something like this is going through my mind right now :3
No, in Japan, the police have been bribed by The King >.> anybody asking for a McD's, punishable by death!
Death by trans fat. :p
The Colonel called it in as a tip off to throw suspicion onto Ronald.
And I can't argue that; Ronald looks like a pedophile. The way he approaches children is just....
I bet it was Wendy. No one ever suspects Wendy.
No, No, No! There is Policy in Japan where if you talk to a Schoolgirl you have to pay for their Tax or Police Protection Tax like mention in the past Sankaku article which involve a on the spot Peeping on a school girl. In other words.....
EVERYTHING WHICH INVOLVES WITH A SCHOOL GIRL YOU HAVE TO PAY POLICE TAX!!!!! THAT'S JAPAN!!!
Damn school must be expensive over there.
WTF?!?! JUST WTF?!?!
There mustn't be enough foreigners around to force confessions out of, poor cops need something else to do...
Apparently so they must have the same hiring criteria the Boston police department has.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Boston_bomb_scare
I swear both departments must actually go out of their way and look for idiots when hiring.
I read the other reports and all were flasher attacks or something like someone touched the shoulder of a schoolgirl.
so now u can blame the police as one of the reason of declining birth rates: they're blocking a flag triggered
Nonsense, the man just triggered a "bad end" flag.
so u need to pick anything beside Mc Donald for a good end huh...
that would be don't talk to any girl under 46 yrs old.
10:01
Walkthrough: "To avoid getting this bad end, remember to kidnap her after you've asked for directions---otherwise you'll get arrested".
You've never played a "kidnap and rape" eroge before, haven't you 10:01?
"Don't talk to any girl" just triggers the "nothing ever happens" ending. The bad ending is the one where you get thrown in prison and ass raped by Buba. Or stabbed by a psycho bitch.
It was his chance to get that girl's number! with the cost of one innocent bystander, that police could play the hero and hit that girl later, where the media isn't looking!!
Cops in Osaka don't have enough dick to suck.
Since when is it illegal to ask a youngster for directions to a McDonalds?
Ever since child porn/pedophiles/lolicons became the new witch hunt.
Terrorism was so 2001.
I "actually" logged in just to '+' this. Nice.
Not really Osaka has a issue with school girls being rape by mostly anyone.
That is not a reason for this kind of overreaction. This is ridiculous and shouldn't be treated like it is anything else.
Whilst conducting some brief background research about this report, I actually came across several incidents in which men were arrested for attempting to chat up women in the street (aka "nanpa"), so it seems you can already be arrested for talking to women - who needs Sharia law when you have the Japanese police.
Damn, why can't those women just say "I'll call the police" or "I'll sue you" instead of the police doing all the job. What if a guy just meet up with his girlfriend in Shibuya, would it be considered as nanpa too?
Seriously, if they have nothing better to do, pls do not create inconveniences for the society JPF.
Arresting encounters - chances of kids = low birthrate
lol japan
I can't wait to see the day where the country just collapses in on itself from all the idiotic rules, laws, social oppression and panicking over nothing.
>I can't wait to see the day where the country just collapses in on itself from all the idiotic rules, laws, social oppression and panicking over nothing.
Wait... you talk about the USA now ?
@17:51
That's because they are not blonde returnees with a split personality.
*snickers* Zetsubou-sensei references over here!
I think said women who call the police for no reason need to be forced to live six months in the very worst part NYC or LA.
That or the under belly of HongKong as it's closer and supposedly even worse.
I think it will teach themn perspective.
As for the police they need to learn to think for themselves and use their brain for something other then a door stop.
It does not take a rocket scientist to tell the difference between someone who just narrowly escaped getting raped and someone being panicky or even outright lying.
@KleinerKokiri: Well I'm not from the US if you were thinking that... :P So yeah that could apply for them as well, but that has nothing to do with the current topic. Why would you bring it up?
Also, lol @ all the weeaboos who voted me down.
McDs not only does it get you fat, it gets you arrested.
Unhealthy in so many ways it seems ><;
That's something we can't love.
they forgot to include the picture:
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gh3Y168aNqM/TKakotBBC_I/AAAAAAAAAZM/6zovR5A_CHE/s400/hamburglar.jpg
I guess I could see this being a problem if his response to "I don't know" was "Well do you want to make a McDonalds? I'll provide the meat if you provide the buns." And then he raped her. But no, that didn't happen.
Police: We found traces of
semenspecial sauce at the scene of the crime.I guess the police really wanted the community to help this man find the nearest McD. Don't they have better things to do? I mean it's very rare for people to be this nice but... this is over doing it.
No. A true gentleman never abandon a pledge for help!
Silly Dust, that's milkshake.
His milkshake :3
vanilla milkshake.
Looks like to get arrested in Japan all you have to say is "Makudo aru ka" to a schoolgirl.
They'd probably arrest you for committing a crime against the Japanese language. That is a terrible fucking sentence.
Actually, that was what the 'suspect' really said. Go look at the incident report, and I think you owe 14:26 an apology.
Give 14:47 some slack... who would ever suspect the Japanese really do slaughter their own language in that way?
Schoolgirl was a bitch anyways, who the hell replies "shiranai" to a simple question?
"Shiranai" is a perfectly normal answer to the question. And what is so wrong with "Makudo aru ka"?
Stop discussing a language you don't speak.
"who would ever suspect the Japanese really do slaughter their own language in that way?"
Considering what I hear on the streets here, I for one am not surprised.
@20:31 ...nothing is wrong with the question the guy asked. However, responding "shiranai" to a general question is pretty rude. It's roughly the equivalent of saying "who gives a shit?" (except when talking about knowing a person).
Wakaranai is the correct word to use for civil people.
22:29 here, as an afterthought I will concede that the word might carry a different meaning in Oosaka-ben; I don't know as I haven't really studied it. If you'd care to enlighten me I'd appreciate it.
japanese student showoff , ever again :D
they're everywhere, really.... there is a place where they're not much tho: JAPAN :p
20:31 here. Well, it all really depends on how you say "shiranai". It can be like "I don't give a shit", but probably more like "don't know" in this case.
Certainly not very polite, but neither was the question.
I'd understand if what he actually said was "Can I mac your donald?", but then, talking to girls would have warrant an arrest in the first place.
The police are the ones with the dirty minds here.
you just made my day.
