schoolgirl-cyclist-by-aqua

Police are looking for a man who asked a schoolgirl whether there was a McDonald’s nearby.

incident-report

Osaka police have issued a warning to the public after a man in a car drove by a high school girl cycling to school, asking her “Is there a McD around?” to which she responded “I don’t know.” The suspect then drove off.

The perpetrator is described as in his fifties and was driving alone in a small light green car. It appears the nearest McDonald’s was some 500m away.

Well, if that is now the case, the Teachers should be targeted too. They ask questions and expect answers. Next the parents, great. Everyone in jail for talking to a "kid." Then when it hits court, jail time for cops, jury, judges, lawyers... aw screw it. JAIL TIME FOR EVERYONE!!

... how crass, a man talking to a younger woman! How dare he even approach the girl, much less with a simple and innocuous question! also, who called the police? it didn't sound like the girl was scared enough to call them, did they just know? have they gotten a working people-radar, and now they investigate every time a older male bleep goes within a certain distance of a young female bleep?

High School girl, loli.... doesn't matter..... if stopping to ask directions from someone (and I personally have asked directions from children before) is now a crime, then they had better start with the good explanations of why it should be.

Not just the bullshit 'pedo danger' bullhockey that you keep on hearing on a regular basis.

There was an advert for hayfever here a few years ago in the UK.

Surveillance team closely watching this woman, she sneezes, and is promptly surrounded by a SWAT team.

Sadly, that'll become the norm for UK society at some point.

You won't be able to sneeze without someone classifying it as "terrorist code."

    great question.

did the girl say i dont know, but did, and run to a police box?
did she not know, and later on it came up in conversation with parents who over reacted?
did a cop happen to see this happen from a bit away, and asked about it?

i want to know the story of hew they found out.

Same here and are the police that bored?
This is not the first time Osaka's finest have made the news here for being stupid.
Maybe it's time to fire about half of them since it's obvious there is not enough real crime to justify their ranks.
It would save millions on the budget.

Japanese police are shitty and their methods are really shady. And you especially shouldn't expect justice if you're a foreigner. Often they just get uncomfortable that they might have to deal with you and speak your language that they don't want to handle your case. Other times they will almost always side with Japanese people no matter how innocent you are. I've seen this so many times it isn't funny.

Japanese law enforcement is seriously lacking training that would make things a lot more efficient over there. Even the honest cops just aren't efficient enough to get everything done.

If your bike is stolen in Japan the police will get it back. Bicycles belonging to schoolgirls will typically be returned without the seats.

instead of board, i like to think that they over react. you know why guys in cars go after little kids by saying can hoy help me find my dog? it works

after a certain age though, it goes the other way around, where i believe a kid should know better and stay away.

if a highschool girl got caught with that, id think it was her own damn fault... i don't want her to be raped or killed, but seriously... commonsense please.

they didn't mention the guy being creepy or anything like that... something that would tip a high school girl off, but may go way over a little kid, so im guessing the police here are treating the high school girl like a 5 year old.

You'll get it back. IF YOU'RE JAP.

Quite pretending to be an international country already. If you really do wanna participate in the World, how about start by changing the minds of the people? Still so fucking close minded and ignorant...

I live in Japan right now and you will find how shockingly ignorant they are about foreign cultures.

Are they searching for the guy because he talked to the schoolgirl or because he was going to a dirty american fast food restaurant?:p

    Comment by Anonymous

they obviously are bored, most of japs are hikis and workoholics, so theres not much to do. Even when someone go apeshit, he is either killing with a knife or killing himself

    Comment by Anonymous

I don't know about that. Japanese police are just diligent... if your bike is stolen in Japan you'll get it back. That's something I couldn't say about here.

You've never played a "kidnap and rape" eroge before, haven't you 10:01?

"Don't talk to any girl" just triggers the "nothing ever happens" ending. The bad ending is the one where you get thrown in prison and ass raped by Buba. Or stabbed by a psycho bitch.
