Looks great. The face is....very interesting.
This is most definitely a step up and in the RIGHT direction from the vomit-inducingly hideous Jew-Sanctioned American Hatsune MANku.
No, I'm going to be frank here: That face looks absolutely terrible and out-of-place on that incredible body sculpt. Miku looks like a fucking downy.
What's with some anime sculpters and and not recognizing retardation when they see it? Even anime needs to follow basic anatomic rules to remain attractive. There are 2 major flaws in that face:
1) The distance between your eyes is always one eye length. Look at that Miku, her eyes are pretty much on the sides of her face like a fish. AND HER EYES ARE UNEQUAL DISTANCES FROM HER NOSE! WHAT THE FUCK! A simple ruler and caliper would've easily prevented this bullshit.
2) Her mouth is way too damn close to her nose.
I did a quick (shitty) photoshop addressing those two flaws. Now open pictures 007 and 008 above and compare it with my fixed versions:

As an sculptor myself, there's nothing that grinds my gears more than great sculpts ruined by bad faces.

Let me guess, you've never drawn before and think the anime fanart on DeviantArt is well done.
Well for one thing even humans aren't always anatomically perfect. Secondly, most if not all anime break those rules one way or another.
Last but not least... shove it, even if you are a freaking sculptor then you should freaking know you design it however you want, its freaking art.

Yea, my 008 still looks downy, I apologize I couldn't do a better job. I still stand by the fact that my 007 is more aesthetically pleasing than the actual one.
There's always a few people who like downy faces but that still doesn't excuse the FACT the eyes are unevenly spaced; that's just poor quality checking in the prototyping process. I expect much better from Max Factory.

What's the difference between this figure and the August figma? (aside from this new one costing 70$ more than the figma).
figma is around 1/12 scale, this one's 1/8, so it's about 50% bigger, and more detailed. it's about 30cm base to tip of hair
