The girls are almost too cute but I actually watch the show for the dialogue. SHAFT are amazing at writing the Japanese equivalent of Tarantino/Whedon-style mile-a-minute dialogue.
Bakemonogatari was the same, I used to call it "If Tarantino wrote Scooby Doo and it was made into an anime series".
Pani Poni Dash, on the other hand, was just beautiful surrealism.

After all the posts on SC I checked it out and quite like it. Yes, Erio has to be the cutest thing in the history of the universe, but I quite like the quirky story/characters and how Erio's slowly learning how to readjust to civilization. It's not the deepest show in the world, but it doesn't need to be.

The show has good art. Sure, it's almost all women characters. But you have to admit, the show looks very pretty and the artists do a good job. That being said, yes, it is just another show about a guy with tons of girls who like him. If you don't like that kind of stuff, begone with it!

Fanservice? K-on had hardly any fanservice (assuming you're referring to the ecchi kind). One episode of this has more fanservice than every episode of K-on combined.
always give a show a few eps not just one. giving it one ep and saying its bad is kinda unfair to the people that worked on it. some animes got my hooked 3rd ep even some 1/2 thru i started getting hooked

Watch the first 3 episodes and you're still going to be bored. You're supposed to watch the whole thing. Only then will you gradually get interested. Very, VERY interested.
