What kind of nonsense is this?
Toaru Majutsu No Index II is number ONE?
Try a series that has been CONFIRMED not to have another season.
Shakugan No Shana has a season III
Toaru Majutsu no Index will have a season III after they finish the MOVIE
Hayate no Gotoku! will have a season III (Confirmed) in Spring 2012.
Lucky Star is a ONE HIT series. It didn’t need a second season. They were Seniors in High School. That was the point on the series.
Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles DID fall out of the graces of CLAMP that’s why it didn’t recieve a final season. However, they DID back it up with TWO final OVA series which made-up for that fact.
I don’t follow too much on many of the other series, but I WILL agree with “Sacred BlackSmith” It DID promise a second season at the end of the FIRST season… and it never came, isn’t in the works, and isn’t likely to happen EVER.
Seasons not mentioned:
Kazuma No Stigma: (GONZO’s Version of Sacred BlackSmith)
>>>Kazuma was a bad-aS5 character who really made you intimidated by at the same time want to know what kind of chaos he would concoct next. There was some wonder, however, if there would ever be some kind of forbidden romance between him and Aizano… but then again when they ended the series they left it on a cliff-hanger contemplating whether or not Kazuma would find resolution with his lost fiancee and what exactly DID happen to her. Anyways, I found that particular cliff-hanger very agitating.
Another one possibly not mentioned:
Tsukoyomi MoonPhase:
>>> Little Hazuki never really met the “BIG BOSS” daddy and find out what he wanted to do with her.
The reason the series concluded as it did, “The animators became bored and wanted something FRESH to do.”
Here’s one possiblity:
Ah! My Goddess>>> Season 3.
>>>That’s right. Season 3. Back when that series was running strong, it always made you wonder if Kei’ichi would ever “Do It” with Belldandy. Unlike in Oh! My Goddess! (The Original OVA) where they jumped right in and did it.
OFF Topic a little…
Why hasn’t there been an anime version of “A.I. Love You” Ai ga Tomarani…(I probably spelled it wrong)
>>> I always wanted to see Forty-Chan/Kun do his/her Transformation.. but then again there is always ToLove Ru…
Speaking of which… hope there’ll be a 3rd season of that. (Done the same way as the second season- blatantly ecchi to the MAX)
Birdy the Mighty not on the list 🙁
No. FMA ended perfectly, and it ended when it needed to end. There needs to be no new season, no additional plot, and no strange new twists. It was done right.
K-ON! was laughable. A downright disgrace to anyone that actually plays instruments.
Elfen Lied….maybe.
Soul Eater…maybe.
Shaman King bahahahahahahaha
Seikai no Senki (Banner of the Stars) anyone? I think it was a great space opera kind of anime. It had 3 seasons and OVA but I think it deserved more.
W…..T…..F…..!?!?!?
I cannot believe Berserk is not even in the top 50.
If i ever saw a show that made me batshit mad for not continuing, it HAS GOT to be Berserk.
AAAAHHHHHH
I’m still so mad about that one.
It “ends” when the story actually begins, and i’m not kidding or exaggerating either.
Everything in the show is pretty much the introduction of the setting, mood, mentality, and characters, and for many, their demise.
It continued, and AFAIK still ongoing, in manga form, but i don’t care two shits about manga.
I’m an anime fan, NOT a manga fan.
s♥♥t!
Such a good show treated so poorly.
BAH!
