Kanako has lesbian fantasies all the time and the anime shows them, excessively, in still frames. They may not be explicit but it's still showing them.
It's not anti-yuri. Kanako and Mariya just kind of have a lot of back and fourth. (Though Matsurika calls Mariya a tranny the most.)
No one can hate yuri or traps. It's impossible.
Maria+Holic is against yuri since Kanako can't get see a women less than fully clothed without dying from nasal hemorrhage.
In other words there is never going to be anything resembling emotional and or physical contact.

season 1 was far better.
let me put it this way, by episode 2 of season 1 i knew i was watching the rest, by episode 2 of this one im waiting till its all out and getting it in a batch and skimming it to see if its worth watching.
Watch it for hanaji lady, traplicious Mariya and dojikko maid. Everything else is a tasty side dish.
