A soldier arrested for sex crimes claims he did it to avoid being sent back to duties in Japan’s disaster areas.
The 31-year-old man, a petty officer aboard a submarine rescue vessel (pictured), was arrested for indecent exposure after he bared himself one afternoon at a Kanagawa video rental store.
According to police, he had already been dispatched to Japan’s disaster areas twice in order to help recover missing bodies at sea, and was set to go again in the near future.
He claims this was what led to his arrest:
“I felt that I did not want to go to the disaster areas. It was harsh work there, I was under a great deal of stress.”
Soldiers in lesser nations generally shoot themselves in the foot to avoid service – in Japan they apparently commit a sex crime instead.

doesnt hurt as much as getting shot at your feet… he could have said that he got physiological issues due to radiation or something crazy… wait not radiation probably because of the situation? or [add excuse here]

This guy must be a Tokyo resident or something or other because that’s just not right. People need help otu there. For shame man for shame.
On another note. I laugh at his method of getting arrested by exposing himself in video rental store.
