The problem with Kipi is not the photoshop, what she does wrong all the time is her characterization, well, lack of characterization, she always uses the same smiley expression in all her cosplay.

I'm going to be "that guy". The glasses are supposed to be a magenta/fuschia color. They're red in this cosplay. Not to mention isn't the skirt and stockings meant to be a that same shade rather than the more distinctly red tone she has?
My only pet peeve about her glasses is that she wears them over the hair.

Kipi is a good cosplayer although something about this Mari isn't right, she doesn't suit the character at all, if I remember correctly Sadamoto mentioned that he wanted to give Mari a British look, this however isn't.
I'm with you here. Chamaro's Mari cosplay is still the very best imho because her face is not too asian [except the eyes], opposite to Kipi's.
