How are the armed forces viewed in Japan. Honorable, or are they ostracized? Or maybe a bit of both like in America?
“Moe~moe~kyuu~<3"
Like that?
Japan uses Moe . . .
It is super effective! 🙂
On a side note, basic training in ANY “armed service” is 95% discipline and 5% weapons. You can teach someone to fire a gun in 2 or 3 days. It takes weeks tho to train them to be organized and take orders and operate as a unit.
Just because Japan calls it a “defense force” does not make it any less of an army. Same training, same organization. Calling it a defense force may make it more attractive tho to NEETs and Hikikomori who could really use the money and a positive social change of pace.
A defence force is an army without ambition.
I can already see Ishihara campaigning against this. “Military work for children? UNPOSSIPEL!”
