I never finished the first season. Jokes just got stale and stuff.
Still nice the show got a 2nd season and that its doing well.
While I did watch the first season all the way and enjoyed it more or less, I think I know what you're saying. It it did feel at times like the series was just swimming still and not really going anywhere. Not that much character development or anything.
I've been looking forward to more Matsurika. I hope she gets more time than she had in the first season.

Do NOT like traps in general, as I'm not gay, but this show is hilarious. I'm not gonna let the fanservice being directed at closeted people stop me from watching an otherwise awesome show. Like OreImo, I was able to look past the disgusting premise once I saw how good the actual quality of the show was, and Maria Holic definitely makes me laugh.
Also, Matsurika is a bitch in the way that's really hilarious when watching but would be really annoying in real life. Good stuff.
