The freshly restarted K-ON! manga introduces three new moeblobs for fans to fawn over, which they have obligingly done so with some gusto.
The new girls are apparently to be regulars, although the four surviving girls (Azunyan in particular is nowhere to be seen as she has been exiled to the tender mercies of Ui in her own manga) still share a university dormitory.

Lolol I'm loving the misunderstanding fail of two separate mangas when its just how k-on was published from the get go with volume 2 and 3. Just 2 chapters released a month in which it will be put in chronological order when the tankoubon gets released. But yes the manga is following both azunyan and the original four with the three new girls who are also joining the light music club in their university. Now if we see new freshmen with Azunyan is one I have to see.

K-ON will be split into TWO mangas, the first will focus on the 4 senior girls in university, while the second will feature Azu-nyan rebuilding the Light Music Club with Ui and Jun, so worry not, you'll still get your Azu-nyan. :)
I personally will be reading both once I get my hands on their respective first manga volumes.
Azu-nyan is necessary after all.
