They draw nice but not to my taste. They really are all normalfags. a shameful display.
I dunno. They all look like 2 minute sketches. I'm pretty sure this is just a statement rather than a specific intent to show off their skills.

That cast of nearly all anime, moeblobs even include most of these in a way, usually combos since small cast. Even most american TV shows have this, generic setup is generic.

Hakase reminds me of Dr. Wiley. 26 also gets bonus points for the "hohohoho" drill-haired ojou-sama. Fans are also acceptable.
