Nessa from Yamakan anime Fractale gets a rather appealing figure rendition by Good Smile Company, smiling rather brightly at such fans as she has and due for release in August 2011.

I still prefer the Nessa in anime. The color combination make that Nessa warmer and more attractive than the original version. However, when she grown up and become old, ya, purple is more fit.
As Expected of Good Smile.
This was bound to happen. It says GoodSmile in the credits. Somewhat surprised that they're going with the original design. Why didn't they just leave it in the first place?
So nobody is worried that her face looks nothing like the anime (or manga) version of the character?
not really, why we should complain?
an adaptation don't need to be too fixed to the original
Still. Looks like it's from Wallace and Gromit.
Well, it looks better than the crappy anime version for sure.
Good of her to be so positive.
I thought the MANGA ver. is based on the ANIME unlike the norm which is the other way around. so technically, this is not the original version..... i think.
Dude, this was a light novel before both of those. This is the original design used in both the novel and manga.
I like the character and the quality of the figure, but I don't like the position
made me remembering Momohime figure
purple hair WTF!?
Im gonna make a bird statue and say its a dog. Thats how much that figure looks like nessa.
I'll wait for the anime version. Thanks.
Nice figure. Since I don't know the character the fact that the face may or may not be off doesn't bother me.
I've never seen Fractale, and I don't have that much interest in figures (At least static ones, figmas and gunpla or A-OK) but god damn that is one gorgeous and detailed sculpt! The coloring is amazing too.
It's a pretty damned good example of what 2D should look like in 3D. <3
kinda creepy.. dunno why
If you can take off the white clothes, she looks like she's wearing a nightgown :3
Want a Red and Purple Set to compare with ^_^
Nessa daisuki
Why are they making purple hair when she was red in the show? Did they start making it based on just the promo art or something?
They were basing it on the original light novel version, I believe.
actually, no. there isn't a light novel. the series began as a script for the anime and then was released as a manga so it would get attention.
purple hair = manga version
Oh what. Thanks for the clarification then....did not know that.
The original character design from the novel.
She has a good smile indeed. Good job, GSC, for emptying my wallet.
DO WANT!!! *Pre-order's it*
Nice figure.
Why would they changer her hair color in the first place? Illogical redesigns baffle me to no end.
Hmmmmmmmm....never bought a figure....but very tempted to buy this one...I don't know why.
:Purple Huh
Well I do remember someone mentioning an art style revolution way back in the anime
Very cute figure of Nessa.
But I prefer the anime version w/ the reddish-orange hair....just saying ^_^
Then you like readheads. Original color scheme's better.
Oh, it's the purple hair Nessa!
The original Nessa. <3
So thats the original nessa? Interesting. Though i must say this reminds me of a touhou character... Not sure why...
I mean it's Nessa from the original character design, so don't get confused!
