It has been confirmed that esteemed cosplayer Saya has passed away in an accident.
According to her little sister, she died at 05:27AM on the 15th of March as a result of an accident, the details of which are not clear.
In an update a few days before, she confirmed herself she was not affected by the recent earthquake, and rumours of a suicide have also been denied.
The news of her death took some time to surface, as her sister was understandably preoccupied by the loss and there were no clear channels through which to easily propagate the news.
Saya’s last update and various additional confirmations all seem to suggest the news is beyond doubt.

There's an old tale that may answer your question. The tale has many variations & pops up one way or another in many cultures, but I'll try to give you the essence of it: The was a very beloved person who died. When the person who loved the deceased the most found out, that person got very angry with God and decided to go to Heaven and take God to task for this unjust, unfair, & undeserved cruelty. Ha! Ha! Ha! The story's basis isn't on "deluded bullshit", but on some harsh realities: People die, even when we think they shouldn't. The people left behind in the wake of the death are sometimes scared, confused, angry, etc. If they don't get over the death & the reasons the death occurred, they run the risk of ruining their lives & the lives of the people around them. The "deluded bullshit" comes in because humanities forebears--as well as modern humanity--really didn't have anything better to say than, "It's okay, baby. Everything's gonna be alright" when death occurs. The "deluded bullshit" is the sugar you take with the bitter pill of reality to make the medicine go down easier.

I can see the point of Pyrus's story however I lost some one in this life which made me mature more quicker then needed not to mention I had no child hood whats so ever and it the end I stopped believing, there where times where I personally asked for help but things just got worse and no help ever came. uhm kids, if god exists he would respect the free will of human beings, most of the bad things that happen to us are an action of another human being. If god suddenly helped one of us it would violate the principle that he love us equally since he would be favoring one of two people God just exists to give life, take it when the time comes and judge what you did with it.

I was having a Greg Giraldo night last night, laughing my ass off in remembrance of him... only then to find out Mike DeStefano died a couple weeks ago... fell asleep cursing the world... to wake up finding out a person whose pictures have helped my with reference several times with my art survives the tsunami only to die a few days later in an accident?

Just had to log in and drop my comment here; you will be sorely missed Saya, for you are my most favorite and dearest cosplayer ever. I might never had the chance to meet you in person, but I can feel a great lost for the whole cosplaying community. You are, by far (and I mean by far) the best Hatsune Miku cosplayer the world has ever seen, and I will always forever remember that deep inside my heart.
