I'm not really surprised by the mangaka listed in this and the related articles, mainly because a couple months back, I was asking about females who draw shounen manga. However, an interesting question came about as I was asking that: are there ANY male authors who draw shoujo-centric manga?

I always thought that Hiromu Arakawa was female, though I wasn't 100% sure with Hoshino since I couldn't find any info on the internet to confirm it. If they were judging by art style I would say Hoshino was female due to the high amount of bishonen though male due to it being a shonen manga.
