Only two even interesting me this season are Hourou Musuko and Madoka, both for their uniqueness. (But Hourou has great story telling as well)
Just what I was going to say.
I would put Madoka in first, with Wandering Son second, and Merry third.
Same here.
The fact that Wandering Son isn't in the list shows that most Japanese don't like to watch the more serious anime. WS has a great story and it's a really well made anime.
I would take BEELZEBUB out of the list. I don't even find it funny.
Huh? If anything, Yumekui Merry would only be able to top the list for "Top 10 Boring Animes of Winter 2011."

Hmm... surprised Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? and Yumekui Merry are that low in the list. Also no Hourou Musuko? I'm surprised at that.
Will admit that I thought they would rank Higher although Hourou Mouko while having a good plot may be narrowing its market since it does dfocus on a guy that likes to dress as a girl and a girl that dresses like a guy. That said last ep was getting good ^_^
Kimi ni todoke WAS very good though.
This ranking clearly fails since Madoka is top by all objective measures (2ch thread count record, DVD/BD sales).
Also, personally I'd put Yumekui Merry a lot higher.

Popularity is not an objective measure of quality. Look at Twilight.
This is a popularity ranking. It's fair to question its accuracy when the series which generated most discussion, fanart and sales is only in fourth place.
I would have to agree with this. If you look at pure discussion Madoka would win by miles (and were only measuring in feet here). Granted, many people have differing opinions, and they are entitled to that, the fact that this list is suppose to be based off popularity and puts the highest discussed and purchased show in 4th shows that it is obviously rigged. But they do have a good point, Twilight although absolutely terrible has high ranking.. but if they are seriously trying to compare Madoka with Twilight something must be wrong in their head...

Beezlebub is exactly where I expect it to be. Those top 3 are basically the only non-horrible anime this season.
the manga for Beezlebub isn't to bad, but its going towards training and powerlevels fast. but up till now it was great.
Beelzebub is good and pointing to about a 50eps run due to its popularity.... I don't get all the haters on Beelzebub on sankaku.

Not all anime has to have fully thought out plot, some are made just for fun. Take Panty and Stocking for example :D
beelzebub seems to be like the semi infinite shounen series like bleach, naruto or reborn. So why the attack on IS for being generic harem, when this kind of series are generic fighting thats fucked up.
Beelzebub had nothing until now. The same jokes over and over and no plot whatsoever. i have no idea if the manga has something better but the anime until now sucks. It's just the series for some mysterious reason seems to have lots of fanboys.
Everybody laughs at shows like Naruto and Bleach but they are still a lot better than Beelzebub.
So what the hell?
beelzebub's manga is a lot better than the anime, which totally dumbed the storyline down to make it feel really stupid... well, the manga itself is kinda stupid too but at least it's better than the anime.

Well I was glad to see Kimi ni todoke up there It's a very nice series to watch although the season season was shorter then the first haha but oh well
but I can understand why Dream Eater merry was only number ten It's a good series don't get me wrong but the episode after Yumeji got injured was very anti-climatic It looked good from the Preview but it just didn't deliver But still loved this series though.
As for Kore wa Zombie Desu ka I think they should have episode 11 as episode 12 and episode 12 as a Ova because It seemed rather silly Having the main story end at ep 11 Plus i didn't think the last fight Was really all that long they could of carried it onto episode 12 make the last 2 eps the main battle.
heck no, there's no reason to stretch out a battle, just to push the obligatory beach episode back a month as an ova?
