I have to agree on that one.
I think this is part of why Japanese game companies are failing--while western developers like BioWare and Rockstar give actual big expansions to their games' content for 10-20 bucks, Japanese developers seem content to try and bleed out money for quick costume jobs like this. Not just in these Japan-only otaku games either, but ones like Dissidia 012, Soul Calibur IV and Tales of Vesperia. This may work for stupid obsessive virgins, but it doesn't work well for them when the rest of the gaming world expects more bang for their buck (and is apparently taking their business where they'll get it).
As far as the quality of the DLC itself...meh. Like many here, I've got a voyeur streak, so just adding bikinis doesn't do much, adding short skirts for panty shots would be much better. On an unrelated note, lol at pic 21.

Maybe the biggest upgrade would seem to be replacing GUYS with cute maids (the back-up dancers). The opposite from the direction IM seems to be going.

I downloaded the Gal Gun demo from the japanese marketplace and I was able to see plenty of pantyshots.
Not as many as they made it with... Isn't it odd how when you're focused on one girl, you can tilt the camera about... 5 degrees up and down? How useless...
Or when you're holding that white square stable while a girl in a short skirt (Kaname) climbs a ladder behind it? That's because of the censorship they were forced to implement.
It sounds like this came into the retail version in the 3P patch however, so there may be hope if you run the original retail version - you just won't get school swimsuit DLC, other DLC, or a bug fix for Kaname's route.
I still like idolmaster more although it kind of makes me feel like a lolicon now

Still horrible music, bad breast physics and no real game content... How they never pop out of the apron make no sense... If you cant get the real thing at least use porn or an idol dvd. This is sad.

Surprisingly enough, this makes me want the game less. I thought the graphics, character designs, and animation were too lovely and beautiful to be cheapened by this level of fanservice customization.
If this team had made an epic RPG with these graphics and designs or even an emotional rollercoaster dating sim instead of random minigames, I bet it would've been far more successful.
