Hmm... a lot of it seems to be these pictures. They're taking dynamic pictures of a dynamic pose. I think that's a method of incidentally opening up new dimensions... either way, it seems to be an illusion caused by her coat tails that make it look like she's rotated 90 degrees at the waist. Based on the folds in the shirt and the skirt underneath the coat tails, it's probably not as bad as it seems.

This is the last time I am saying this. IT'S NOT A POSE, ITS CLEARLY A MOTION CAPTURE (or something like that, either way the figure was in motion.)
People seriously don't know how flexible dancers can be, I guess. That plus the fact that clearly it is the capture of just an instant of time as she was moving, it is entirely possible.

I never saw anything wrong with this pose, I know I can personally twist like that, and I know my sister can bend her elbows like that (although it's creepy as hell irl)
Only issue with this figure is that the Tony "eye sparkle" tends to get lost in artist translation... (Leaving a fairly dull looking eye in response)
