Taiga-besotted otaku have been demanding the removal of the copious amounts of raunchy artwork in which she features – “why would someone want to see such a precious girl like Taiga do these hentai things?”
The email in its entirety, as sent to Sankaku Complex:
Hi,
I’m sure my request is going to be outrightly denied, but I thought there would be no harm in trying. I am contacting you today […] because I wish that the hentai pictures of the character Aisaka Taiga, form the series Toradora!, would be removed from your site.
I know that this sounds like a foolish request, and there is no gain for you, but it is something that is very important to me.
I am not someone that frequents your website, so you may be thinking that my opinion is of no importance, and you may be wondering why I care, if I don’t see it, it shouldn’t affect me, right?
I care because i really, truly, love Taiga, and seeing people draw her like this pains me. It is not right, it corrupts her image, it’s not in her character, it doesn’t make sense, why would someone want to see such a precious girl like Taiga do these hentai things?
I know that many people do like that sort of thing, in fact, more people like it than are against it, and why would you run a site like sankakucomplex if you were against such things?
All I can do is ask you, beg you, to remove them. Although there is no benefit to you and your website, i beg you to remove the hentai picture/drawings/art of Aisaka Taiga, as a favour to me.
All I can do in return is be eternally grateful, and wow….. is that an amazing reward or what? Having someone you will most likely never meat, and who doesn’t visit your site, eternally grateful.
I know that the reward is not nearly equal to the action that I am asking you to do. Please, I ask you, person to person, I ask you to do a favour for a stranger. Please get back to me preceding the decision.

and what is relevant for us, is that in h-manga these individuals are generally depicted as nothing more then cumdumpsters in some form or another. and unless you have a few screws loose, you wouldn't want that to happen to someone we care for on that equal ground - in the same way you wouldn't enjoy watching some worthless bugger shagging or raping your mother.
though, yes, a part of the disgust in h-manga from us 2Dlovers is that we don't want to see other worthless buggers do things to them.

There is a difference between characters you find raepable, fap to and forget after a while and ones you really like.
Did that never happen to you? When a character is so likeable and well executed that you just can't help adoring her, it's not easy to think of pics depicting her as a slut/human toilet as something else but tasteless and disrespectful to the character in question.

It depends on how you see that person. do you want to put her on a pedestal and warship her from far way. or do you want to be able to touch her, hold her and tell her how wonderful she is if she existed in real life.

I have many such characters, and I still find it enjoyable to fap to hentai art made of them. Can't explain why, but I just do. And some of these characters are those that I really really really like. One being Kanade from Angel Beats .. I own nearly every merchandise item ever made of her.
