The manga adaptation of Puella Magi Madoka Magica continues to fascinate fans with its alternative take on the events of the anime, with the second volume of the manga full of blood and being esteemed as “almost a horror manga”:

That would be what Homura says to him, not what he says to her. The kanji before 目 is blurred enough that all I can get out of it is something about "changing Madoka's fate." Also, the top of the panel being cut off doesn't help much either.
That's 鹿目, Madoka's last name.
