Hell, I can accept a Blassreiter ending, as long as it's not a Requiem for the Phantom's ending. Nothing is worst than killing the main cast 5 seconds before a series ends.

For nearly two decades, this anime is the only one comparable to Evangelion when it came out. Shinbou did a good job destructing this genre :D.

Based off Madoka crying in the OP...she might be the only one to make it. That's it.
QB grants wishes himself using his own power/technology/whatever, even though it might be fueled by the grief seeds he gathered.
Thus, there will be no insane game-breaking wish.
Also, it is implied (actually, stated outright in episode 8) that after becoming a magical girl Madoka will be so powerful she will be able to do stuff greater than any wish she might make anyway, so her wish is pretty much irrelevant.

I'm gonna assume that the Walpurgis witch lady will show up in 2 episodes or so, and thus we'll have Homura losing to her since she's by herself as shown at the beginning of episode one. And then Madoka will become a Mahou Shoujo finally after forever. It can't be Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica without Madoka become a Mahou Shoujo.
