I have to say,it was (from a plot side sight) awefully episode. The fan-service was nice, but repetitive and little bit boring. Beside of all, Laura gained extreme much sympathy and she is now my fav. XD. I love the misunderstanded shy ones.
Only one scene of the ep. was for me new in the aspect of "missunderstanding man". It was the scene, where char said "too many rivals" and he thought about the game. That wasn't too clichee and relastic against the rest of the "huh, what does she want?"
I hate the scenes with the "big sis", she is like FU little brother, but you know I like you. (like a secret tsun) and he "Aww T__T.. she doesn't like me.." what a pain of a man. -.-

You got to give them credit for overusing the new character transfer student thing so many times over that it's hilarious. Not to mention having multiple tsunderes and a whole pile of other factors that have been way too overused.
Haruhi would totally love to go to the IS Academy, they seem to get a mysterious transfer student once every few weeks. Not to mention the whole thing with Laura's eye.
