Christmas In June quite the unique use of timing indeed
(Perfectly in Line with Tourist Season)
two in one deal. just take off the Santa outfit during the summer.
Though I'm not a giant fan of K-ON, I do prefer this sukumizu over many of Wave's beach figures. The face is more true to the original character and the pose is more dynamic than the average Wave.

Actually, strangely enough that's a relatively accurate arm. It's partial double jointing or something or other, I'm not familiar with terminology for it, but real people do it much more often than you'd imagine. It's funny doing life drawing and getting reference from real humans, because you find yourself drawing stuff that just looks wrong, but is accurate to your reference. That's the job of artists really, to beautify our imperfections.
In this case, I actually like that little touch to give her that very lithe, lanky feeling that comes with people whose joints do that. It gives off a certain feeling of movement all its own. But then, that's only if you know what you're looking for I guess. Otherwise it just looks strange.
This is blasphemy.
Santa Yui is supposed to be wearing nothing but her underwear under that outfit, or nothing at all in my dream version.
