I've always wanted to do that, seriously though my roomate was telling me how fucked up this show is, I'm ready to give it a shot after this announcement
You should--it's pretty amazing.
Well, amazing in a fucked up sort of way, but really--it sure beats some of the moe pap that is floating around these days.
The first three episodes are boring as hell, but they really fill in the plot that'll be relevant later.
I'm tempted to give the anime a spin, but I don't really want to see anyone getting killed, lol. Quite a dilemma.
I'll probably buy the game once it's released, though (as long as it isn't dubbed, or allows you to switch between voiceovers), maybe we'll see more of such releases in the future if enough people show interest...
If you don't want to see people getting killed, this is not the game for you.

I've played the Japanese language version (all those Japanese classes came in hella handy) of the buggy original game, and I always wanted to play the HQ version...
But now that it's coming out in America I don't have to toggle with my language settings and all that rot to make it work!
I just hope JAST does a good job, and hires decent actors.
...Though if the game is licensed, then will the anime eventually be, too?
All I hope is that if it does, FUNimation doesn't get its grubby Vic Mignogna-humping paws on it. They've killed enough of my favorite series with shit dubs as it is...

If by uncensored you mean mosaic-less, most likely.
However, coming from JAST USA, I wouldn't be surprised if they ADD their own censoring to it.
Remember it's America, expect some form of censoring, definitely after some bored politicos wanting sound bites to justify their salary.

Even if the translation will probably be crap. >< (If it's in Japanese dialogue, I can at least skip the subtitles and just listen to the audio)

That's most likely how it will go down, like every other eroge I can think of. As for the anime, who knows if it will come out here. Too many references to fucking, but at least it has a little blood and violence to give it a fighting chance.

An official English language release with DVDs. Most things with official releases aren't shown on TV anyways. It's been fansubbed for years btw.
If they release it with english subs and Japanese voice, I'm going to buy it for sure.
That's how JAST does its games. English text, japanese voice, uncensored graphics (well, almost always).
The group that was doing the translation patch for the old version is handling this, so unless JAST is giving them a voice acting budget it will probably just be original language with subs like pretty much every other voiced visual novel available in English ever.

U'm kind apissed because of this official Nitro+ X JAST thingy the Sumaga TL got DELAYED, even though it was nearly done. Now I have to wait for JAST (actually it was Nitro+'s Fault for the delay in demonbane) to actually TL other VNs before gtting to SUMAGA.
