Catherine Coming to US After All

Atlus will be releasing an international version of “HD adult horror title” Catherine (which certainly sounds a lot better than “puzzle game with sex”) after all, with its US release dated for summer 2011.
The announcement is not wholly surprising given it was the only possible explanation for Atlus going to the trouble of porting the title to the 360 – presumably the previous comment can be dismissed as a marketing misfire.
The game can be pre-ordered now on both the PS3 and Xbox 360, with its release dated July 26th.

Considering how the game doesn't have actual nudity or actual sex on screen and is in fact 100% a puzzle game with anime cutscene facade.... It's probably less offensive to some than letting Katie die in Dead Rising 2.

I think they sent a newsletter not too long after they announced the "Japan-Only" title to anyone that subscribed to AtlusFaithfu. Can't find the article, but I think it said "do you still like us", with the background colour resembling Catherine's colour scheme.
