It has been announced that otaku anime Lucky Star is “finally” to be adapted into a musical, with Konata and company finally given the opportunity to sing and dance.
Just how a moe-slice-of-life anime is to be successfully adapted into a musical is a matter of some speculation amongst fans, as Lucky Star seems something of a departure from the likes of previous anime musicals like Sailor Moon and even Bleach.

Well that is great but um, what about Lucky Star Season 2?
Maybe these highly visible projects will lead to more fan demand and buzz and an actual new season. I heard a ton of rumors that it's in the pipeline and we're only an official announcement away from a new season. I can't wait! Also can't wait for the Nichijou anime. LOVE gag/4-panel anime.

Wouldn't this require it to have a plot? That's quite a departure.
Huh? Why does turning something into a musical require it to have a plot? Wouldn't it be infinitely easier if there were no plot? You'd be able to base it around a vast majority of things, other than just your strict 'plot'.

Might as well make a 2nd season. First season was very nice. Enjoyed each and every episode despite that it's about everyday life. Lol.

Hard to believe but yeah bleach had a musical, I actually bought a DVD that had it plus both the Jump fest OVA's on one disc... haven't watched the Musical yet though so I can't tell you how it was.
