That was one of the funniest mistranslated phrases I've seen in a while.

@VillainousHanacha It's actually a meme from 4chan. I'm not sure if it existed before Merry but someguy posted on /a/ refering to Merry's hips as "vagina bones", and a meme was born.
Apparently at least one of the fansubbers visits 4chan.

What that line probably meant was that area on the hips just to the side of the navel. Where the Pelvic bones create the creases on a well toned midriff. I don't know the technical term either, but I wouldn't have resorted to "Vagina Bones". That sounds painful...

Well, maybe Madoka is the best anime of this season, but the best character of this season is definitely Merry!
Naw, Madoka's the best character this season, simply because she cries so much. I love it when the main character is emotionally hurt and scarred. I hope the day she becomes a mahou shoujo is the worst day of her life. Too bad she isn't male, or I could enjoy her suffering even more.

I think it's a little odd how quickly merry went from an almost tsundere like character to this emotional wreck.
hm, I didn't think it was so huge of a transition. What helped it was the fact Merry was never really a full tsundere in the first place, as you said yourself TFish. I would say a "Type B" Tsundere at most. She's just a bit standoffish is all.
Also there's the fact that she's under the impression that all her efforts for the last 10 years or so have been totally meaningless, as well as thinking for most of the episode that there is absolutely no way back to the dream world, that is until Yumeji cheered her up at the end. Not only that, she just found out that instead of sending the Muma back to the dream world, she's been killing them instead.
I would say that given all that has happened to her, she has more than enough warrent for some angsting.
Considering most of that she couldn't find them very often, she probably didn't kill very many of them. Still, even being not able to find them, 3650 days is quite a lot of time.
Well this episode felt like it gave nothing to the viewer if you ask me. I mean it was mostly Merry being rather emo this whole episode up to the last few minutes here. Although this episode needed more fanservice I tells ya'.
Character development.
Exactly. The poor girl's just found out that she's spent ten years murdering her own race, thinking she was just kicking them out. We're lucky she isn't suffering from PTSD or something.
Yeah, very sad, indeed.
