Actually, I don't think it's funny. It looks like the cat have some mental/physical abnormalities. After a number of "scares" it should "get used" to the ticking, realizing it's nothing dangerous. There's just something wrong with cat, and I doubt it's something good.
The cat wouldn't "get used" to the sound in such a small time frame. Cats are very jittery animals, they respond to even the slightest sound with much energy. Something unnatural sounding and loud as a metronome would almost definitely produce this reaction given the cat hasn't been around a metronome for very long (in terms of fixed-ratio, rather than fixed-interval). Therefore, this reaction can be attributed to either the cat being new, or the cat not being around whenever the owner practices his or her instrument.
A simple test for you to try my hypothesis:
1. Find a Cat
2. Stomp on the ground behind the cat, producing a large sound.
3. Follow the cat around the house.
I am almost certain that for the rest of the day, the cat won't get used to it.
This is so cute...I wonder why the ginger reacts like that, the tabby doesn't seem quite so interested. I'd like to see what my own cat does with our metronome now.
my mother as child has played with a toy, which makes smiliar "ticktick" noises and the cat got an smiliar case of epilepsy >_<. but it's a funny reaction anyway xD
If anything that twitching reminded me of that pirate villain from peter pan who scared shit of that crocodile that was ticking. Why am I referencing this? been playing to much KH
too much coffee for the orange guy.
No no no! He was just popping to the beat.
It's a new dance craze sweeping the world:
"the twitch"
That kitty was twitching - don't try that at home or you might hurt your self. And in the end kitty for the win.
METRONOME used tick tick!
It's super effective!
CAT used Scratch attack!
A critical hit!
METRONOME fainted!
Cat was simply following the beat, when it had enough of the beat it ended it.
Metronome used Metronome!
Metronome used follow me!
It's Super Effective!
The cat almost hurt himself in the confusion.
OK, I'm going to say it because no one else has yet.
可愛い~~~~! (>-<)
I love cats, they are so funny.
Tabby: Oh my, what is tha- ah! It's- ah! so- ah! scar- ah!
Grey cat: What the hell are you doing? Just sniff it!
Cats are awesome.

poor metronome
This is so cute...I wonder why the ginger reacts like that, the tabby doesn't seem quite so interested. I'd like to see what my own cat does with our metronome now.
That cat is the reincarnation of Michael Jackson!
That cat's got some rhythm!
Curiosity kills
the catdue to the overload amount of cuteness..the black cat was passing by to see what the other cat was doing and seem to get caught in the same curse...
both cats are freed after the cursed item was knock down
I couldn't help but think about the fact that the orange cat seems like it's popping and locking. haha
haha Yeah I noticed that too. It would stop after it got distracted.
We need some crazy editing along with music to make it look like the cat is pop-locking to everyone.
Ah, i never get tired of these cat posts. Keep it up.
Its a break dance cat in training! Pop it! Lock it! LOL. Next Spooky will be learning headspin O_O

cats... i love them silly things :3
that was interesting :P
The Pussy is twitching XD
Thats what you get for running a cat on integrated graphics. You get Jerky frames and lag.
I wonder if I take one and go to the stray cats around my neighborhood!! LOL!!
and peace was restored throughout the land
Look OUT, IT'S A TRAP!!!
Jitter cats they got Jazz Rythmn
sad cat
WE HAVE DEFEATED THE ENEMY!!!
Good reflexes orange dude!
The cat can pop better than I do ;D
Our cat did that a lot.
Don't bring a metronome to a claw fight.
why did i almost piss my pants laughing?
Hehe the cats reaction to it looks almost unreal, he twitches so much. What if it was set at a faster pace?
If anything that twitching reminded me of that pirate villain from peter pan who scared shit of that crocodile that was ticking. Why am I referencing this? been playing to much KH
he'd start laying eggs
The cat would probably have spasm if it was faster.
I'd be more curious as to what the reaction would be if the metronome is also set to chime?
It would twitch with such force and frequency, it would disappear and become invisible. In theory :3
Nyaa~ Kawaii X3
Curiosity ticks the cat. XD
Cuteness overload!!
omg i need to get one of those for my cat! ^_^
Yet the black cat was looking the Snooky and thinking "is this cat a fucking idiot".
had to love the twitch each time it ticked =^^=
LMFAO OMG
