Even a relatively serious anime about crossdressing children has to have a saucy swimwear episode, and the 4th episode of Wandering son certainly does not disappoint in this regard, bearing both gorgeous art and sukumizu action.

I won't lie I got confused as to which character was the trap not the trap and then the reverse shopping ^_^
But once you get who they are it makes a lot more sense
How come they didn't show the girl in a guys swimwear...
I'm amazed that SanCom features a serious anime for once.
And a good show at that. Gotta love Chi-chan and her choice of clothing, boy's uniform in EP1 (quite hot at that) and a bikini in the swimming episode.
For some reason it feels like every picture is a flashback.
I like the watercolor art. It's very nice.
When I watch this anime, I get more-or-less the same feeling to when flipping through a photo album. The art's fantastic and though I was expecting the quality to go down after the first episode, it didn't. I'm very pleased about that.
Pic 6 ... IT'S A TRAP!!!
No shit, sherlock.
Pic #6 is of the character Chii-chan, who is 100% female.
I get what you mean...
The animation is pretty peaceful and reminds me of a storybook...Involving delishush traps and reverse-traps~
But my hentai perversion aside, this is a very good anime that delves into the lives of people trying to find their place in the standards of human gender while living in a school environment...

IT'S A TRAP!
dame style
goddamit sankaku, do you really have to take something serious and thought provoking and make it look dirty and sound bad?
There is no trap in a swimsuit in any of those pictures. The trap character does wear a normal boys swimshorts.
little bit late for the post?
I like the story and it's one of the more ethical depth.
I have not watched the anime version yet but did they skip the elementary school arc and went straight to middle school?
they did... not best of all ideas.
they all have shiny hair....
This is such an awesome show.
There isn't a single trap in this.
These are transgender children, and if you think that's something to fetishize then there is something deeply wrong with you.
I think it is more fun if you watch an Anime and you don't realise yet that it's a trap.
IMO the notebook scene was way more intense in manga then in the anime.
anyway I love both can't wait till dvd/BR release :3
Heads a little too polished
All the rest looks really nice
Is this done in 3D? Very unique animation.
It'd 2D but meant to look like a water color.
Despite the series being about cross-dressing, the series does an amazing job of reminding me what it was like to be a 12 year old fat kid with a crush on every pretty girl in his class. And, oddly enough, watching this show is kinda cathartic.
Also the OP/ED are awesome.
It's about gender identity and transsexuality, not cross-dressing.
Saorin and sasa are my favorite. No doubt. No sir. They remind me of Madoka and The transfer student.
Why in the world is the sun so bright in this show? It's like everything's covered in a huge blanket of white light.
It's a faded water colour look and it's gorgeous.
Reminds me of the art style in Valkyria Chonicles.
Still way too damn bright
You guys realize every character looks the same.
Watched the first episode and got kinda annoyed by it... not because of the theme, but because of whiny or boring chara. To people watching it: Worth insisting?
For some reason I'm watching lots of anime that address crossdressing to some point... dunno if it's a trend or just coincidence.
