I agree they are all just following a standard character creation.
The most obvious example is blue short hair and glasses. I don't watch the show but she should be the smart one right?
She's actually not the shy brainy girl she is the brash sporty tom boy.
The most irritating comparison is among the brunettes, besides the hair ornaments & difference in face expression & probably personality, they are the same damn character, end of story...
The blondes situation & comparison annoyance is how Pleiades thought that by using twin tails instead of drill tails that no one wouldn't notice the similarity, come on...even the twin tails look a bit spiral like in the comparison image...
The Blue hair girls while having a comparison are different enough for me so whatever there...
The Pink hair girls are different enough to me so I don't see the problem there...

Does anyone know if the artwork in the ED is available in highres somewhere?
I noticed the Subaru car front end on the Mahou shoujo staff, and i guessed that every cane represented a different Subaru model. Also, i noticed the subaru logo shown indirectly at least a couple of times during the OVA, but not directly. Look at the first 5 seconds of the first episode and compare the stars to the actual logo to see what i mean.
What i am really curious about is: Why the fuck would Subaru invest on this? It´s not like they can use it as advertising. Not a single reference to the brand. And it doesn´t really go anywhere as an anime, they could have done something more meaningful even if it´s just 20 minutes of animation. They could have done a beautiful Initial D ripoff and i would have loved it.
Maybe they will give the BlueRay disk as a gift for buying a new car, in an attenmpt to gain otaku buyers?

It's an unfair comparison(but obviously it won't stop ppl from comparing them since they're both mahou shoujos for this season). Pleiades is 20 mins at most. It obviously can't compare to Madoka in terms of impact.
Pleiades definitely has really good animation though. Guess that's what a lot of money for a 20 minute animation is for you.
