Palmtop tiger anime Toradora! is to receive a continuation in the form of an OVA accompanying its upcoming Blu-ray box-set.

The news immediately prompted (entirely baseless) speculation that the new anime could touch upon the hitherto non-canonical Taiga PSP ending fans of the series are so preoccupied with.

Why?

We can have a new storyline now! What about a crossover with their daughter being a kouhai and them best friend of Ushio Okazaki from Clannad?

Or in case of a man, a possible love couple.

what the hell is wrong with "that" ending? Do you really expect them to live on as teenagers for the rest of the life and not having "that"? I actually likes "that" kind of endings as it shows more about the characters life after that

You know what, I really enjoyed what I've read of the manga, so far. But I couldn't even make it passed the first episode of the anime. It seems generic and overly played. Makes me question how the fuck everyone keeps talking about it.

That, huh? Well a little reasoning would tell ya that they were at least 18 when they did the deed, and probably she'd be close to if not even over 19 by the time she'd given birth. I have many friends and known just as many people whose moms where 18 when they gave birth to them or their siblings. My own mom was 17 when she had my eldest brother. It happens all the time.

Personally, I'd love to see more romantic scenes between Taiga and Ryuuji, since there was about 4-5 in the anime.
But whatever will it be, it will still be Toradora!, which is enough.

Heaven forbid an anime show the terrors of teenage sexuality and teen pregnancy...

I would wholeheartedly applaud them going for such an angle. It's about time a series had the guts to explore a love story beyond the simple kissing conclusion, as satisfying as those are.

My problem with romance stuff these days is when you see somoene chasing another romantically for many "years" IE Lovely Complex I expect a more conclusive ending after all that time spent chasing, and all that drama it caused especially when it's at the end they get together.
