You know what, I really enjoyed what I've read of the manga, so far. But I couldn't even make it passed the first episode of the anime. It seems generic and overly played. Makes me question how the fuck everyone keeps talking about it.
That, huh? Well a little reasoning would tell ya that they were at least 18 when they did the deed, and probably she'd be close to if not even over 19 by the time she'd given birth. I have many friends and known just as many people whose moms where 18 when they gave birth to them or their siblings. My own mom was 17 when she had my eldest brother. It happens all the time.
It could be that... or it could be one of the non animated spin-offs... or another chibi thing. Don't get your hopes up.

Personally, I'd love to see more romantic scenes between Taiga and Ryuuji, since there was about 4-5 in the anime.
But whatever will it be, it will still be Toradora!, which is enough.

"That" ending isn't bad. Well maybe kinda bad since it promotes a pregnancy still in there teens but...its still not bad. I would be all up for it.

I would wholeheartedly applaud them going for such an angle. It's about time a series had the guts to explore a love story beyond the simple kissing conclusion, as satisfying as those are.
My problem with romance stuff these days is when you see somoene chasing another romantically for many "years" IE Lovely Complex I expect a more conclusive ending after all that time spent chasing, and all that drama it caused especially when it's at the end they get together.
I didn't know what "that" stand for, so I checked and...crap! I'm sure as hell I don't wan't "that" even if Taiga and Ryuji were so "awww" in the final episode. Adoption is find too xD
Taiga the mom.... Can't wait to see what their kid's like... If it's a boy it has his dad's looks and mom's disposition = ULTIMATE YANKEE!
