Japanese are wondering who on earth judged a recent “Miss Japan” competition, regarding the parade of supposed belles as average at best.

For me it is a natural thing already, that every single contest like that consist mainly of ugly bitches. Be it in Japan, USA, Russia.... they all fugly as hell. Yet everyday on the streets I see common girls so pretty, those "winers" couldn't even begin to compare.
I guess that just shows the tastes of majority of adult and "normal" men. Of corse they too are fugly as hell, maybe that's why.

At least the way these girls are judge in a way to test their intellectuals a bit more(bit) seems better if not make better example to the rest of the female community.

Sometimes it's not necessarily them being ugly, but just the makeup artist and hair stylist completely fucking up their looks.
I had a friend who competed in the Miss Malaysia World beauty pageant before, she managed to be one of the 19 finalists.
She's normally really cute and comely, but during the finalist round I don't know what the hell the makeup artist was trying to do with her face. He/she made her normally cute round eyes look really small, and put a tonne of foundation on her face making her cheeks look plastic-y. And the hair stylist tied her hair back into a simple pony-tail which further enhanced the makeup fuckup.
