“Gokicha!!” Cockroach Girls Anime Announced

Famed vermin moe manga Gokicha! is to receive an anime adaptation, and as if the adventures of these adorable cockroaches were not enough, the show’s insectile heroine will be voiced by none other than Rie Kugimiya.
Some Kugyuu fans report being disconcerted that their favourite seiyuu will forever be associated with cockroach infestation, not that their complaints count for anything.
However, the anime is said to be targeting the mobile phone market, so the chances of Gokicha-chan enjoying the same success as fellow invertebrate invader Ika-musume do not seem great.
