Console war moe anthropomorphisation RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia‘s English language release is apparently considered a little too raunchy for corpulent Walmart shoppers, as even some tame cleavage exposure finds itself expunged from the cover.

The cover may have changed for the worse, but Japanese gamers seem quite envious of the plethora of extras available with the premium edition of the game:
The game is due February 9th in the US and march 4th in Europe.
The game itself is something of an odd choice for localisation – its characters and settings are all parodies of the war between the current generation of consoles, and they draw heavily upon the intensely hostile console rivalries fought out on 2ch’s gaming hardware boards, none of which is likely to be understood by most Japanese, let alone an international audience…
However, the game was nonetheless well received in Japan and boasts gorgeous art and good graphics – it may be necessary to heed the old adage about not judging a book by its cover.

This game was pretty old and slow ass turtle. Neptune and Noire seems hinted, The CPUs weren’t talking about males NPC. It was a comedy for some reason
I am glad this game has pretty good story, it’s too bad this one never got sequel. They had to retcon in order story mk2>Victory>Vll.
Noire and Neptune are lovey dovey couples, I already know Tsunako likes to ship Unigear and some good yuri moments like IffyxCompa. The reason why Noire ignores males character because she thinks they’re creepy, stalker, molester and annoying that’s why She prefers Neptune only.

Well as long as the game is not changed in a I censored the game in North America kind of way I may get it Will wait till the facts are out lol
Having a game about the console wars exclusively on PS3 makes it look biased. I know the developer probably couldn’t afford to make it 360 and Wii as well and that PS3 is the audience that would buy the most copies out of all the systems but it still seem like it should be on other platforms. I haven’t played it or heard anything of the story but I certainly hope it isn’t some stupid weeaboo s♥♥t where they praise PS3 and then make the 360 look shitty and the Wii look all lolicon.
Well, if it will help the game sell then they have little choice. A retailer could refuse to sell it on the grounds that it is too raunchy even though by today’s standards, it is, in fact, tame.
